Cadmium Bromate, CdBrO₃)₂

Rhombic prisms of cadmium bromate are obtained by double decomposition between barium bromate and cadmium sulphate. They are probably the dihydrate Cd(BrO₃)₂.2H₂O, and are very soluble in water. Unstable small white crystals of the triammoniate, Cd(BrO₃)₂.3NH₄, were obtained by the action of ammonia on a solution of the salt.
