Cadmium Bromate, CdBrO3)2
Rhombic prisms of cadmium bromate are obtained by double decomposition between barium bromate and cadmium sulphate. They are probably the dihydrate Cd(BrO3)2.2H2O, and are very soluble in water. Unstable small white crystals of the triammoniate, Cd(BrO3)2.3NH4, were obtained by the action of ammonia on a solution of the salt.
